Experience sun, food, and sports in Miami!
Time for a travel tip! We at WBE Travel recommend Miami, USA.
SO, WHAT CAN YOU DO IN MIAMI?
Beaches, palm trees, and alligators. This might be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of “Miami, Florida.” While that’s true, there is much more in the sunny city – much of it related to sports and food. Here are our tips if you’re visiting Miami.
SUNBATHE, SWIM, AND PARTY ON SOUTH BEACH
Let’s start with the most cliché, because if you’re in Miami for the first time, it’s almost a must to visit some of the most tourist-packed beaches like South Beach.
South Beach, or SoBe, is the most famous part of Miami Beach. It’s known for its wide sandy beaches, lively boardwalks, and the iconic Ocean Drive where you’ll find many art deco buildings, restaurants, and cafes. South Beach is also popular for its colorful lifeguards and vibrant nightlife – perfect if you’re the party person in the group!
MEET ALLIGATORS, BIRDS, AND TURTLES IN MIAMI’S SWAMPS (EVERGLADES)
Miami + alligators = true. And why not encounter the reptiles in their authentic environment? Board an airboat and create lifelong memories on the River of Grass by experiencing what Mother Nature has to offer.
When you take a tour of Everglades National Park, you’ll learn all about the unique ecosystem and its inhabitants: the reptiles.
ENJOY GOOD FOOD IN LITTLE HAVANA (FOOD TOUR)
Are you a foodie who likes to explore different types of cultural cuisine and environments at the same time? Then Little Havana is the place for you. Little Havana in Miami is known for its Cuban culture, lively atmosphere, and authentic Cuban food and drinks.
HERE ARE SOME DISHES WE RECOMMEND YOU TRY:
- Ropa vieja: A popular and classic Cuban dish consisting of slow-cooked shredded beef served with rice and black beans
- Moros y cristianos: A traditional rice and bean dish where black beans are cooked with rice and spices.
- Tostones: Pressed and fried green plantains (bananas) often served as a side dish or snack.
Pair these with a Guarapo (Fresh sugar cane juice, a sweet and refreshing drink) or a classic Mojito (A Cuban cocktail made with white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint.)
Pssst! Don’t miss trying Cuban coffee “Café Cubano.” Defined as a strong and sweet coffee often sipped in small slurps.
